Yet, rarely does an opportunity present itself with the power to impact the many survivors of such a hidden world of pain: Those that have suffered at the hands of a violent loss. San Diego's Survivors of Violent Loss Program invites you to become informed, inspired and moved to support survivors our program services and national website.

To donate, use the following selection. Donations are securely processed through Google Checkout. You can specifically direct your donation to a particular program through the comments box offered by Google Checkout. Retain your electronic receipt; SVLP is a non-profit organization, so your donations are tax-deductible!
Founded in 1998, SVLP offers assistance and support to families who have lost a loved one to a violent death. We are sponsored by First Avenue Counseling Center, who provides us with in-kind donations and 501©3 status. Our staff is trained in traumatic grief and understands the unique needs of survivors of violent loss. Our program provides:
- Comprehensive Counseling Services
- Assessment and Referrals
- Advocacy and Support
- Education and Training
- Children and Adult Programs
As you can see, there is important work being done here, but financial support is essential. Your help makes it possible for our important work to continue.
