Accidents, homicide and suicides are the leading causes of death among 15-24 year olds in the United States with the incidence of violent death a major concern in countries around the world. In an increasingly dangerous and uncertain society our children will likely encounter violent death before reaching adulthood, many during their impressionable and vulnerable adolescent years.

You are asked to bring
Food to share,
Friends and family,
An ornament symbolizing your loved one to hang on our holiday tree
And a poem or words of inspiration
Questions? Call us at 619-685-0005 or contact us

The Holiday Memorial is open to Survivors, Friends and Family members. Friends of...members are also welcome to attend as well. You are asked to bring refreshments to share and an ornament, some symbol of your loved one to hang on our holiday tree. You are welcome to read a poem, sing a song or show some art or story that has been of help to you. Our research supports the importance of remembering our loved ones at the holiday and what better way than with others who understand this kind of loss.

You are invited to leave your ornament knowing that every year whether you are able to attend or not, we place your ornament on the tree. Tags are attached to each ornament so that the loved one is acknowledged to all who are present in remembrance.
